YOUR PORTRAIT SESSION LOCATION: Together we can pick a location and time that will best fit your needs!  The outdoors or your home are the most comfortable places for me to photograph. When doing a session indoors it is best if your home offers an ample amount of natural light. Parks with trees, water, rock formations, walking bridges and flowers create a beautiful backdrop for your portraits. I have access to the Biltmore Estate, The North Carolina Arboretum, and the UNCA Botanical Gardens as well as many other ideas for local spots in the Asheville to Hendersonville area.

WHAT TO EXPECT: I am a relaxed, go with the flow photographer. I am not going to spend a lot of time posing you. We are going to have fun, walk, talk, be silly, and do what makes you feel most comfortable. Your portraits will not be stiff and formal, but relaxed and capturing the real you! 

HOW MUCH WILL THIS COST?  A session fee of up to 2 hours is $165. 

ALL Newborn, Individual and Family Portrait Sessions are for a minimum of one hour at the location of your choice. This includes Kirsten’s prep & planning, time & talent during the shoot, and post production of the images. 

CHILDREN:  I love photographing children because I have two of my own. I understand that sitting still might not be an option. I can come equipped with bubbles, sidewalk chalk, crayons, balls, trains, cars, etc - anything to keep the fun going. 

WHAT TO WEAR: Keep it simple and don’t over-think it. Wear something you are comfortable in. Do not feel like everyone has to “match” and avoid clothing with writing or logos - they tend to be distracting.  I suggest layered outfits and smiles. Vibrant colors are always a great choice!

PAYMENT: At this time a full payment is due within 7 days of booking your photo shoot. 

Graphic Design and Illustration

DETAILS: I am available for all print based media and creative photography-based or hand drawn or painted illustration. I am skilled in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign.   

RATES: Each project varies so much that I am unable to give quotes online. Please email me so we can discuss the details of your project and how we can make it happen.
